Writing

Well the writing was pretty nice, we had to explain a topic mine was about abortion, so it was not easy actually because the writing needed to be extended  never the less I did it the best I could and in some cases I didn't have anything left like any other idea it was like my mind was in blank you know.
But at the end the good part is the we could finish everything and learn from our mistakes thats a way to improve ourselves and get better at this type of things by the way I do not know how my writing was but I believe it was sort of great I hope...

Also in class we are going to have more writings and everything so we have the opportunity to do it better.  For me the hardest part of this is to come up with more ideas because I feel like I don't have anything more to talk about, it is frustrating besides the lack of concentration don't let me show my abilities or skills for the writing part.
I hope I can continue learning more and more about this language it is so interesting.

Well we now have Three writings so basically we have been writing a bout different topics and stuff like techonoly and abortion, is nice because that way we can improve and learn more and thats the point of this things, for me ir really usefull and I hope I did ok.
Also to point out that the wrtings have been long and sometimes it is difficult to keep going because the ideas are not quite there yet but thats the point of these things I guess.

Project

Hi the ability or what I think Im good at is cooking, some examples are these right here like the Daiquiri, Fiesta Fries never the less I think my cooking skills are no that bad I learned a lot in the course of cooking for me was awesome. And it is an ability that I want to get better at in the next few years is really nice.

Out of class

Well I have learned a lot of different words with the voxys it is a nice tool to work with.
What I do to learn english when I´m at home or out of class is watch the T.V, because I like a lot of T.V shows that are presented in W.B.

I also like listening to music, I feel relaxed when I do it. But I think I practice more english when I´am in my classroom with my teacher and everything , I like to improve my english and for me the best way to do that is speaking so I don´t know if I´m really getting better by wacthing T.V series and listening to music, although sometimes I do learn some new words and stuff, that is good because I can extend my vocabulary and try to express myself in a easyier way, is nice to commuicate with a person that know how to speak english, that is showing me that I can speak english and I capable of communicate.


For me is easier to talk than to write anything I do think that because is the way I feel about it. But also because I like better talking, that way I can see the other person face and his or her reaction, for me is cooler I guess but, yes thats pretty much what I do to learn english also I really enjoy reading in english. When I´am reading I do it at loud to practice and listen to the sound of the words so  I can practice my listening...; In some cases is not enough, so I push my self to watch movies or anytihing without subtitles so I really learn and try to understand what is going on you know.

The other day I watched "Focus" the new movie of Will Smith and I´am happy because I almost aunderstood everything, then I Watched it again but with subtitles and I then I could aunderstand better but that is part of everything step by step I have been learning a lot, and I like to learn english that´s the best part, I like languages. It is cool to learn new languages and english is an universal one so we have to learn it.


To be honest I use an app (spotify) to listen to music and listen the pronunciation of the words and everything, is nice because I like it also I like listening to some old music like from the 90´s perhaps, when I´m playing video games I can get the chance to talk to some people from other country´s and practice my english, that´s another way to learn english or practice it.

Destiny is a really cool game you have to interact a lot with other people in fireteam´s and it´s awesome, intertaining and fun. I apreciate when someone come and tell me that I speak english really ,well, that give me a lot of motivation and makes me really happy.

Also now we have a lot of diffrerent practices and everything for example some of them could be the things we do in the blue book and all the homeworks and everything it is not that easy, you have to work hard and do your best the teacher has show us that we have to put our best and that is important if we want to pass the course but never the less in my case sometimes I don't understand some things but that doesn't mean I don't want to  I just need to put more time on it, I guess until I learn how to figure it out.

Reflective section

Hi well I´ve been thinking about what I have learned in the past few weeks, it has been wonderful I hope I can learn even more, the teacher has taught us all the grammar very well, for me it is so much different now and it is so much complicated than what I thought it was going to be, but now I feel more confortable and never the less you as a student have to face challenges and this is one for me in the grammatical part.
By the way I honestly enjoy that the conversational part is so much different as well because the topics that we discussed in class are so entertaining and so interesting you don't spect to talk about homosexuals or prostituts and actually get into a debate with your classmates, is so weird sometimes but in the good way.

The way that we learned a lot of different things and eveything was so original for me because I´m used to the old fashion way, was like a new breathe I thought that it was going to be very difficult because the teacher looked so strict but it was not he made everything looks easy.

When I heard a lot of people talking in English I don´t feel weird anymore like I don´t fit in and that feeling is amazing.

I guess now I can go out the country and feel confortable talking to other people who native language is English, so what I´m trying to say is that I want to thank my teacher for made me learn a new language in a different funnier way.

In class contributions

Well I have learned a lot of different things the teacher gave us a list of verbs in present, past, future and the participle.
We had this amazing activity in class, the plan was to create a story based on three things your partners draw, it was really fun because sometimes it didn't make any sense. Also as usual we had this conversational part in class where we discussed about prostitution, abortion, drugs and homosexuality .
It was kind of different because in class we don't usually discuss this topics so but it was nice different if you know what I mean...Never the less some of my classmates were uncomfortable about it, but it is part of it.
In other aspects we have learned a lot about grammar it is so much different compare of what we used to learn in English 3, the teacher really want us to learn a lot. He is really organized thats a good example for us too, we should learn to be like that at least I think I could be more organized its really difficult but it helps a lot.
As I was saying these 4 weeks have been excellent to improve my English in so many ways I hope I can continue learning a lot week by week.
Now we are just a few weeks to end the course and guess what... we have learned a lot of different structures and words now I will show you some of the work we did in class.

A little bit of myself...

Well I´m 23 years old, I´m studying business administration in ULACIT San Jose Costa Rica, I really like the course of english that i´m taking, it´s really entertaining, I like to communicate with people from different places and get to know other cultures and stuff .

Also I like my new classmates some of them are really gentil and funny, including my teacher he is not like any other teacher I ever had, thats really cool. I think besides that I´m also working with my father in his business so I help him everytime I can.

I will try to be better every day, my goal for this year is to pass every course I join, Im really a responsable person I guess.... I hope to learn a lot from everybody here, besides thats why we are here for; to learn, now a days the english is an important language most of the people have to know at least a little bit to communicate with others. I love how technology has increase in a way that now yo can speak or I mean you can learn a lot just by sitting in your laptop because now you can speak with other people from other places around the world thats a huge advance in certain way it movitvates people to learn english. I spect to learn a lot from this course I really like it.

 

I live with my family in total we are five members, I have two sisters older than me and well I also have a dog her name is Kiara I really care about every member of my family but I think I spend more time with my dog, I´m the kind of person that loves nature for example, I usually go out with my dog and go to the beach or to the mountain but I prefer the mountain it is more fresh I like to take pictures of the amazing waterfalls that exist here, I go a lot to Monteverde or "casa siloe" in Birri Heredia sometimes my cousins come with me but I usually go alone,other thing that I appreciate is the sunsets, who doesnt am´I right?. 

Well for me there is nothing like the silence of nature you know, there´s no better way to relax in my case of course, it could be that for some people is boring but not for me not at all, me and my father see eye to eye on this, we feel the same way and thats really great because we can have some time to share about this and not talk about work. My sisters are more into go out with their friends to the mall or to a restaurant and talk a little while with a jar of coffee you know somenthing real different of what I prefer, I do like coffee any way and we all get a long, I guess we live in a beutiful world and we should apreciate it more often , the nature here in Costa Rica is breathtaking.
